SoftFluent announces CodeFluent, the development accelerator, a real alternative to OffShore

Today, SoftFluent is taking a next step by announcing its development accelerator tool leveraging Microsoft .NET platform and SQL Server. Consistently with the vendor announced strategy, the version launched today is delivered as an online service to generate components, free during the Beta phase. As a matter of fact, business applications still include a lot of repetitive code, even with recent tools and methods. Among traditional answers to this challenge, CASE tools have demonstrated some limits, especially the lack of openness and their quick obsolescence as they cannot keep up with the evolution pace of the underlying platform. Another answer consists of aligning low-cost OffShore developers, but is assumes a relatively long time-to-market, may put the quality at risk, not to mention the project management issue related to this approach. CodeFluent, and its unique associated design & development approach, is an innovative way of accelerating your software development by automating through generation the production of business entity related code, according to a totally up-to-date architecture based on the .NET platform. Moreover, for Visual Studio 2005 users, the tool leverages DSL Tools for modelling and will soon allow the generation of ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts.
